Re-Ply

In June 2020, amid the peak of the Covid pandemic and the profound BLM protests around the world, a notable partnership with BVN Architecture led to the birth of Re-Ply. This period saw cityscapes shrouded in protective plywood transform into canvases for artists to express and process the surrounding turmoil.

A year later, NeueHouse hosted an exhibition of this artistic fusion. The event showcased preserved plywood boards, innovative designs, and a plethora of prints capturing moments from those pivotal times. This exhibition aimed to extend the narrative of Re-Ply and explore its historical significance—Pato Paez was one of its lead curators.
